Education Bar Admission Practice Area Ben Jones is a shareholder in the Knoxville office of Lewis King. Mr. Jones’ practice primarily concentrates on personal injury, insurance and casualty defense in civil litigation with his primary emphasis in the areas of automobile/trucking litigation, premises liability, professional liability and general tort defense. Mr. Jones has extensive trial experience in courts throughout East Tennessee. A native of Johnson City, Mr. Jones graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee in 1995 where he was Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1999. Since law school, Mr. Jones has successfully completed the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice National Trial Academy. Mr. Jones is a 2005 graduate of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Law program, which recognizes the state’s emerging legal leaders. As an active member of the Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations, Mr. Jones serves on the Executive Committee of the TBA’s Young Lawyer's Division and is a member of the KBA's Membership Services Committee. Mr. Jones also serves as a Secretary/Treasurer of the Knoxville Bar Association Barristers organization and currently serves as Co-Chair of the organization's Tennessee High School Mock Trial Competition Committee. |
