Knoxville, Tennessee, February 27, 2009. The law firm of Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop, P.C. is pleased to announce that attorney Samuel L. Jackson is a Shareholder of the firm and attorney Leslie Curry is named “Special Counsel.”

Sam Jackson practices in the firm’s Nashville office. His areas of practice include insurance defense, labor and employment, education law and workers’ compensation.

Mr. Jackson received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Cumberland School of Law in 2000. Prior to starting his practice in Tennessee, Mr. Jackson served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Glen M. Williams, Senior United States District Judge for the Western District of Virginia. He is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association and American Bar Association.

Leslie Curry practices in the firm’s Nashville office. Her areas of practice include casualty defense litigation, workers’ compensation, professional negligence and medical malpractice. 
Ms. Curry received her BS degree, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and received her J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Ms. Curry is a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association and Defense Research Institute.
