KNOXVILLE WOMEN CELEBRATE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

A reception at the Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop, P.C., law firm celebrated National Women in Construction Week earlier this month.

Featured guest Scott Branscom, host of “Warehouse Warriors” on the DIY Network, attended with his wife Christi, as did Knox County Commissioners Mary Lou Horner and Wanda Moody.  Angie McNair, Christine Sliger, Teri Adams, Kristi Bennett, Teresa Oxford, Georgette Peterson, Theresa Adcock, and Charlene Gwin, all members of the local chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction also attended, along with Mintha Roach, Debbie Stevens, Dick Krieg, Jim Clayton, Matt Daniels, Susan Brown, Katie Bell, Jenny Kitts and Heather Fitz.

Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale issued official proclamations for National Women in Construction Week.

“The reception was a great opportunity to recognize Knoxville women who work in the construction industry and I hope more women are aware of the support NAWIC can provide,” said Lewis King attorney and NAWIC member Kristi Bennett.
