Jon West joined Lewis King’s Nashville Office in 2006.  He focuses his practice in the area of workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, personal injury, and general civil litigation. 

Mr. West obtained a Bachelor of Science in Public Management and he received his Master of Science degree in Health and Human Performance. Subsequently, he obtained his law degree in 2006.

While working at Lewis King and attending law school, Mr. West had the opportunity use his technical skills by implementing new presentation technology to incorporate the effective and efficient presentation of electronic evidence during the trial of a multi-million dollar aviation lawsuit.  Specifically, Mr. West was provided the opportunity to spearhead a project that would integrate different types of electronic multimedia into a singular presentation, which allowed for the presentation of video testimony for immediate witness impeachment as well as immediate viewing of the associated deposition exhibit.  He was also provided the opportunity to implement policies and procedures regarding the discovery of electronic information, a concept that would not fully be realized until the electronic discovery movement of 2007.
